As Ri’s Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer, I am delighted to attend this year's World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland with my colleague, Reputation Institute CEO, Kylie Wright-Ford.
With a tremendous 2018 behind us, Ri continues to consistently grow in both revenue and personnel at an exponential rate. Attending and presenting at the WEF at this time in our journey feels especially right as its message so closely matches our purpose to help companies build credibility with the people that matter most to them.
The WEF’s theme this year is Globalization 4.0: Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Founder and Chief Executive of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab explains, “This fourth wave of globalization needs to be human-centered, inclusive and sustainable.”
Now, while I can’t deny that I’m not looking forward to potentially rubbing elbows with global business and political leaders like Jacinda Arden (New Zealand Prime Minister), Satya Nadella (Microsoft CEO), Juan David Aristizába, (Co-founder of Columbia’s first social movement), and Angela Merkel (Chancellor of Germany) — I’m most excited about the WEF’s direct alignment with what we focus on every day at Ri — human-centered inclusivity and sustainability that, in my mind and in my work, add up to trust.
Kylie and I are leveraging this unique opportunity to meet global leaders to discuss these changing dynamics and to provide best practices on how to drive sustainable business.
We know that it is possible to make money while doing what’s right. And the strategies around this transformational idea are what we aim to share through our proven solutions in creating corporate trust.
The future demands that business leaders take every stakeholder’s expectation into account, agnostic of whether those companies represent tech, financial services, pharmaceuticals, B2B, or B2C. Organizations that embrace this pivotal concept — before regulatory requirements require them to — will win consumer, investor, and policy-maker support now.
